Hillary Kruh received her B.M. degree in composition from Catholic University, and her M.M. degree from Indiana University, where she studied with John Eaton and Eugene O’Brien. She has received awards from the International League of Women Composers, and was the featured guest composer at a concert at Shriver Hall where her song cycle, The Voice Of Your Eyes, for soprano, flute, clarinet, and harp, was performed. She was co-president of the Baltimore Composers Forum for the 2004-2005 season. She has had her compositions performed at Catholic University, Indiana University, Peabody Conservatory, Mt. Vernon College, the Midwest Composers Symposium in Oberlin, Ohio, as well as many local performances. She is an experienced accompanist, having played for many solo voice and instrumental recitals, as well as choral accompanying. Ms. Kruh teaches piano, theory, and composition privately in Baltimore.
