2018 Call for Scores

Submissions deadline: September 15, 2018

Duration: 8 minutes maximum (longer submissions will not be considered)

Submissions instrumentation:

Soprano saxophone (Bb)/cello/piano trio and, separately, a harpist.

You can submit a piece for each, but probably no more than one of them will be performed.

Harp:  if you want to add any instruments, let us know ASAP what you’d like to add.  We’ll check with the harpist and let you know if that’s OK.  If yes, and if your piece is selected for performance, the harpist would select the additional musician(s) and you would pay the additional musician(s).

Trio (or subset thereof, including solos)

Also search on google for saxophone, cello, and piano, usually their videos are on the top of the list. They recommend composers might want to write as if composing for piano trio (violin/cello/piano) instead of saxophone/cello/piano. Saxophone/piano duos or saxophone solos can be soprano or alto sax. Only soprano sax for trios.
